My name is Jon Ali Naqvi. I am 17 years old born in Canada currently attending the school of Notre Dame. I am a very caring and kind-hearted person. I am always there whenever anyone needs me. I love nature which is why I like to keep my artworks as natural as possible and incorporate nature if I am able to. I want to create a piece that would make someone’s day or promote positivity. I personally really like to exercise, play basketball, and go out for walks to appreciate the natural beauty around us. I believe art is a form of self expression. It is a way to express how you feel and oftentimes it also depicts your personality and your likes. I want to continue with my interest in art through creating masterpieces which bring a positive aspect towards society. Art is a never ending career. As technology progresses, the digital media promotes media arts through which people can create anything through their devices. Appreciating the natural beauty around me and creating a positive change is something that truly inspires me and will encourage me to continue on with my art.

Slice Pizza

This artwork I created is a pizza slice with toppings on it and also text written around it. It was for my Graphic design brand logo were I had to create my own personal Brand and this is the logo I created for it. This artwork is supposed to show the business of a pizza restaurant called Slice Pizza. My big inspiration is Jim Treliving who is a successful Canadian business owner of Boston pizza.

This artwork is my Initials of the letter J and N in a logo. The main topic for this artwork is mainly how its my personal logo that indicates to me by having the first letter of my first name and also the first letter of my last name in a design I created myself. It's supposed to communicate to people of who I am and what's my personal logo. My inspiration was a famous basketball player named Paul George who inspires me on a daily basis to one day open up my own shoe and athletic wear business.

My logo design is made with my initials of my first letter of my first and last name, which is J and N(Jon Naqvi). As my name spelled as Jon I thought to take it another step further and to be more creative by adding the basketball in between showing my actual name and also my initials of the first letter of my first and last name. I dedicated my logo to a basketball with the big inspiration of Paul george. I someday want to hold my own shoe brand just like him and dedicate it to basketball. He is also my favourite basketball player and I also wear his shoes whenever I play the game of basketball.
BLM Poster

This is a black lives matter poster I created in photoshop in June 17, 2021. I created this artwork during the time of the movement and I decided to create a poster to stand up against racism and to support the BLM Movement. My artwork is supposed to communicate what happens to black people and any types of races that go thru any type of racism and how we should stand against it. My inspiration was George Floyd who was killed because of racism and also was the main cause of the BLM movement.

This artwork I created has a quote written from Wayne Gretzky. It basically pushes people to take their shot in any aspect in life whether it be a risky decision. The theme is a motivational quote to push anyone who is reading it. My inspiration was Wayne Gretzky because his quote inspired and motivated me to take certain shots in life rather than to not take them at all.

This artwork I created has a doodle of many images and shows certain techniques I learned from photoshop and applied onto this picture. It shows the variations of many different things you can do on photoshop and how a person can create a picture they want. This artwork basically communicates to the viewer by showing them a small preview of how much photoshop can do. My inspiration for this picture was myself where I wanted to test out the full potential of photoshop by adding whatever picture I can but still make it look good.
